Kiyoshi Takesue has more than thirty years of experience in corporate development, cross border financings and M&A. He is a founder and partner of Advanced Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (AMT) an advisory firm in Japan, specializing in business, finance and market development strategies for the Japanese medical technology sector. He is Visiting Senior Researcher at the Translational Research Information Center (TRIC), an organization affiliated with the Japanese government in the Foundation for Biomedical Research and Innovation in Kobe, Japan.
Mr. Takesue also has served as managing partner of TTK Co. Ltd. an advisory and consulting firm based in Japan supporting medical technology companies, including Cosmotec Co., Ltd, MIC Medical (as IPO advisor), and Kose Corp. From 1990-1993, he headed the M&A division and was an officer in the corporate finance division of UBS Tokyo. He was at Sumitomo Bank from 1979 through 1990, where he focused on M&A as well as research.
Mr. Takesue holds a BA from Waseda University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
